Fractals are Friends, not Food!

Unless, of course, you're talking about Romanesco broccoli, one of the most commonly cited examples of fractals in nature, which happens to be the first example in this neat article:

It was made by subjecting glass to a strong electrical current.  A similar fractal shown in the article was made by putting an electric current through nails stuck in a wet plank, which burns fractal-like branching marks in the wood.  I'm definitely going to try that one if I can get my hands on the right tools.
